Edit: July 2023 - came back after a 4 year gap and it is even better than before. Easily the best meal we had in Italy. Original: The extensive seasonal menu is nothing short of a delight to the lover of Piemontese food culture. The friendly maitre d’ “is the wine list” in this marvellous place, and the bottle of Mumbersè he brought to us almost had me in tears with its heady, deep deliciousness. Some dishes excelled - the ravioli here are superb, and the local slow cooked pork with balsamic glaze was gorgeous. The dessert menu alone covers a whole side of A4. However, the desserts themselves were a little hit or miss. I suspect that was just because they had set the bar so ludicrously high with the antipasti, primi and secondi. The bill is your final joy of the evening - it may be a grand claim, but I can almost guarantee you will not find better food at this price anywhere in Europe. For 6 people having three courses plus coffee and that bottle of magical wine, it came to €135. Amazing.

Outstanding Piedmontese kitchen. So tasty and broad selection. The service was fantastic and they spoke English. My favorite one-liner comment: “I’m the wine list” and the waiter found a very good red wine from the region Nizza. And the price... I don’t remember I have eaten so good with that price tag.

Food very good, but the wine selection made the difference. The owner will select a wine for you, taking your dish and preference into account. Prices for the wine are not listed in advance but he did not charge a high price regardless of how expensive the bottle was.

This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant ever. It has absolutely incredible local food. The waiters and waitresses are some of the nicest people we have ever met, and the whole building is so nice. Also the prices are pretty good, about 13€ per course. All and all 5 stars, I do recommend.

Super good place with the best food and not that expensive!! Two courses, dessert and a bottle of wine for 70 eur. It was on top of a hill. Further away from city, but still 100 percent crowded.

Have been here a couple of times now. The food is simply delicious, as well as all the wine and all for a very fair price! A must visit if you‘re in the region and looking for local food made with local ingredients. Only „downside“ is that it‘s a little loud inside.
